The Teacher Academy program at the Kosciusko-Attala Career Tech Center is giving its students hands-on experience in the classroom as they contemplate entering the field of education as they begin considering college.
During her 41-year career as a librarian, the Attala County library has become much more than shelves of books to Eloise Williams.
Williams will be honored at a reception at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon to celebrate her retirement.
Kosciusko High School students took their places among authors at the Mississippi Book Festival in Jackson last Saturday, signing copies of the book “What Can We Do For Our Country?”
The book is a project of Write MS in which they had their contributions published.
Sixteen of the 23 senior students who participated in the Write Mississippi Program will have essays printed in a book that will be distributed throughout Mississippi.
