After spending two years as a student at Northwest Community College, Brad Gray knew that he was destined to be a football coach.  The 1997 Water Valley High School graduate left Northwest for Ole Miss, graduating in the spring of 2004.

On the Porch with Dirk: Wildlife and Human Encroachment

I have had quite an interesting week with wildlife, to say the least.  Not all of it has been pleasant. The meat of the story is about the two most recent encounters.  With that in mind, I thought back to the many calls that I have answered in my law enforcement career.  Some examples are a squirrel in the house, snakes in bathrooms, coons in the attic (even a bobcat one time), wild hogs digging up flowers, prowlers or burglars rattling doors who turned out to be coons, and even deer stuck in ball fields and ornamental iron fences.  The list goes on and on.
