The injuries continue to mount for the Ethel Tigers after Super 7 running back Daquan Mallett went down early in the first quarter with a knee injury. This injury was on the heels of two that occurred in week one.
PHILADELPHIA — Last year it took a miracle for the Whippets to defeat the Neshoba Central Rockets in Kosciusko. The Rocket quarterback was about to kneel to run out the clock, but did not get down quickly enough.
The Ethel Tigers amassed 375 yards of total offense last Friday night and put up 28 points, but played catch-up all night to the Class 2A Enterprise-Lincoln Yellowjackets, who amassed 351 total yards of offense and 38 points.
