Man charged with child abuse
Attala County Sheriff William Lee said James Arnett has been charged with child abuse of a six-year-old female. Arnett, 28, of Kosciusko, was charged on Jan. 28 after a report by a family member.
The child is with family and was taken to Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released. Arnett is out on $25,000 bond.
