A man accused of hurting a six-year-old child will not go to trial today.
James L. Arnett, 28, plead guilty on Tuesday in Attala County Circuit Court. He will be sentenced on Monday.
According to sheriff's report, Arnett was turned in on Jan. 28 after being reported by a family member.
The child is in the care of other family members.
