Argo execs visit Kosciusko dealer

Joerg Stieber, president of the Canada-based Argo company, and national sales manager Jason Boelhouwer visited Fred Watkins at his Kosciusko dealership recently.

It was the first visit to Mississippi for Stieber, who enjoyed Southern-fried catfish and hushpuppies at Watkins’ home during his two-day stay.

“We had a good time,” Watkins said. “They said they enjoyed the Southern hospitality.”

Watkins has been a dealer of the amphibious vehicles for the South Central United States for almost 20 years.

The Argo is an eight-wheel, off-road vehicle that also floats. Its ability to go where other vehicles can’t has made it popular among outdoorsmen for 40 years. The vehicles, manufactured in New Hamburg, Ontario, are sold in 70 countries.
