Decorating business found on Square: Holly Millikan offers a complete package of interior design services

By Nancy Green

Holly Millikan Interiors LLC has opened an upstairs office on the south side of the court square.

The four rooms, which showcase a sample of her decorating abilities, are located above Super 10, Suite A, in the area of former dental, Chamber of Commerce, and Main Street offices.

Mrs. Millikan specializes in decorating from new construction to updating and remodeling.

On display are several rugs along with some items of furniture (bamboo), which she offers. She also sells old oriental, and new Kilim and Oushak rugs. As a designer she has accounts with companies from which she can order to fill her customers’ requests.

One of the display rooms features an extensive assortment of fabric and wallpaper samples. Furniture placement and picture hanging is another phase of her decorating. Art she offers for sale is displayed in her new location.

Another of her specialties is window treatments. She teams with Karen Kirkpatrick of Traditions and Trends, who does all the sewing for the orders she receives.

Mrs. Millikan and her husband Scott moved to Kosciusko several years ago from South Carolina, where she also operated an interior design business.

The walls of her office feature several framed newspaper and magazine articles of homes she decorated.

A Parade of Homes feature and another in Homes and Gardens are among those lining the office walls.
