Cindy Hathcock-Myers recently retired after serving 25 years as police and fire dispatcher with the Gulfport Police Department.
She was honored with a retirement ceremony by friends and co-workers and presented a plaque and letter of appreciation from Chief Alan Weatherford.
On Dec. 3 she was awarded her 25-year pin and the Mississippi Distinguished Service Medal for her service and dedication to the department. The presentation made by Gulfport Mayor Brent Warr.
She is the daughter of Dale and Lucille Hathcock of Kosciusko and is married to Don Myers, a lieutenant with the Gulfport patrol.
