    Ricky Cole, executive director of the Mississippi Democratic Party, will meet with Democrats and others Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Bobcat Building on Tipton Street to explain the rules of voting.

  • Attala schools list registration dates, proofs

    Pre-registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten students of Greenlee and Long Creek Elementary Schools will be held Feb. 6-27, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the office at each school.
    Pre-K students now enrolled at either school will not need to register for Kindergarten.

    The 1982 graduating class of Ethel High School is hosting its 30-year anniversary reunion and is inviting the classes of 1978, 1979, 1980, and 1981 to join them. The event is planned for Memorial Day weekend, May 25-27.

    Cameron Russell Langley, fourth grade student at Greenlee Elementary School, is being treated in a Georgia hospital after receiving accidental burns Saturday night at his home in the Zama Community.
