Attala Library plans two new events

KOSCIUSKO — On Wednesday, October 17, the Attala County Library will hold its first Teen Fall Festival for age 13-17 at 3:45 pm.  

Teens may wear their favorite Halloween costumes to the library for the costume contest which will be judged by Friends of the Attala County Library.  The winner of the costume contest will be given a complete set “Percy Jackson & The Olympians” written by Rick Riordan.  

Teens will also be decorating mini pumpkins to take home.  Participants are asked to bring old clothes that can be used to make scarecrows to decorate the library lawn.

Hot dogs and punch will be served to the after school crowd.

Movie and Muffins will be for adults only on Tuesday, October 23rd at 10 a.m. in the library meeting room.  

While enjoying coffee and muffins participants will be shown a psychological thriller just in time for the Halloween season.  The movie is rated PG-13.  There is no charge for any programs or refreshments at the library.
