Attala County Farmers’ Market will end its fall season on Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.
“We are very grateful for our regular visitors, those who braved the unfavorable weather with us, and our promoters who told others about us. As a token of appreciation, this Saturday, you will find extra low prices, early bird specials, and bulk buying discounts. Nowhere in town will you find better deals on greens, peas, sweet potatoes, peppers, okra, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, turnips, Bok Choy, tomatoes, honey, jellies, and much more,” said Ken Georgia, organizer of the market.
He invites participation which will offer the opportunity to stock freezers and prepare for Thanksgiving. “Come out and meet your farmers, share recipes, and lend us your ideas on how we can better serve you the customer,” said Georgia.
Grand opening for the 2013 season will be held in April.
