Employability skills training classes set

KOSCIUSKO — In preparation with the upcoming Mid-Mississippi Job Fair, Holmes Community College Attala Education Center has planned three sessions on employability skills training to help job seekers to improve their chances of getting gainful employment.

They are:

– Have a resume that says “Read On” instead of “Move On” and is set for Monday, January 28.

–Appearance and dress makes the first impression, do you make a “good” one?  will be Monday, February 4.

–Resumes market skills and accomplishments, interviews SELL you! is planned for Monday, February 11.

Angela Griffin, a career coach, will be the instructor.

All classes will be held at the Attala Education Center on Highway 12 and the time has been set from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The sessions are free and those wishing to participate are asked to register with the ed center at 290-0808.

The job fair will be held on Thursday, February 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Attala County Coliseum.
