ETHEL —
The Town of Ethel has selected a theme for the upcoming Christmas parade – “The JOY of Christmas in Ethel 2012: Putting Jesus first and others second in all that you do can bring joy into your life!”
The parade will be Saturday, December 1, at 6:30 p.m. on Main Street in Ethel. All schools, bands, clubs, groups, organizations, churches, floats, vehicles, tractors, ATVs, horses, wagons and buggies are welcome to participate.
Call Town Hall at 674-5222. Deadline to register is November 29.

New Garden reunion Saturday, Sunday
New Garden School and community reunion will be held Saturday and Sunday at New Garden M.B. Church. Activities will begin Saturday at 10 a.m. and a memorial service will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at the church.

Helping Hands Mother’s Day luncheon fundraiser will be held May 10, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Williamsville Baptist Church. Tickets are $10. There will be second time around jewelry, devotional books, purses and a silent auction.
