Providence Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fund raiser Nov. 10 beginning at 5 p.m. Servings of chili, stew, dessert and beverage will be sold or chili/stew may be bought by the gallon. There will be a cake/pie walk auction and walk, also an auction of miscellaneous items.

FamFest set at county coliseum June 6-8
FamFest, designed to bring neighbors, friends, parents and children closer together and re-establish bonds of love and unity as a community, will be held June 6-8 at the Attala County Coliseum. Sheila Murray is in charge of arrangements and said plans are to make the festival an annual event.
