Artists sought for OWB&G Club calender; deadline for Attala art is July 1

The Oprah Winfrey Boys & Girls Club and the Jordan Gallery of Kosciusko announce the first annual calendar competition.

This contest is open to all residents of Kosciusko and Attala County age 16 or older. Entries may be submitted by July 1 to the Jordan Gallery in the Jordan Furniture Store. Twelve paintings will be selected to appear on a decorative 2010 calendar, proceeds benefiting the club.

Interested participants should provide a 16 x 20, unframed, horizontal painting of any scenic landmark or landscape in Attala County. Paintings should not be signed but name, address, and phone number should be provided on the back. Please feel free to enter more than one painting in the contest.
