Facebook
Also, become a fan of The Star-Herald on Facebook and interact with us! Get daily updates right to your Facebook news feed.
It’s the way to get your news, sports and everything in between as it happens.
We have started a weekly question on Facebook to our fans and so far the response has been great.
Facebook interactions also led us to Saints fans as we prepared for the Super Bowl.
Snow predictions
Last week’s Facebook question was – How much was it going to snow in Attala County?
Here are a few responses from our facebook fans:
•
“I'm counting on the weather men and women being right this time ... I want some snow ice cream!!!!”
•
“Two inches...but I would just as soon not have any!”
•
“Three inches. that's my guess. if the low tracks just a hair more north than expected possibly four.”
Twitter
I know the Twitter craze has not truly caught in Kosciusko and Attala County yet.
You should give it a try!
Kosciusko Mayor Jimmy Cockroft has Twitter and there are so many other sources of entertainment and media that give instant information.
As I close this column remember – We DO want to HEAR from you! Make no mistake about it. You are our second set of eyes and ears!

Let’s talk about sex education

We do have some famous folks
We all know the trademark “famous” folk from Mississippi. We’ve got Elvis, Oprah, Brett Favre and John Grisham.
