KOSCIUSKO —
Dale and Jo Ann Oliver of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Leigh, to Matthew Flynn Gordon, son of Billy and Tracy Gordon and the late Karen Alexander Gordon of Vicksburg.
Miss Oliver is the granddaughter of Harvie and Mary Oliver and the late Eddie and the late Elnora Smith, all of Vicksburg.
Mr. Gordon is the grandson of Robert and Jeannette Alexander of Kosciusko, Marie Gordon and the late Billy Gordon Sr. of Benton and Stacy and Patricia Hatcher of Port Gibson.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Warren Central High School, where she was a member of the Valhalla yearbook staff, Student Council, Key Club, First Priority and choir.
She received a communication degree from Mississippi State University and was a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America and the Student Broadcasting Association.
Miss Oliver is sales coordinator for Hampton Inn & Suites of Vicksburg.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Warren Central High School, where he was a member of the football and power lifting teams, Student Council, First Priority and Key Club.
He received a business administration degree from Mississippi State University and is currently employed with Tower Loan of Vicksburg.
The wedding will be at 5 p.m. Sept. 29, 2012 at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Vicksburg with the reception to follow at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center.
