KOSCIUSKO —
Ron and Margaret Culpepper of Yazoo City are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Bonnie Kathleen Culpepper, to Jeremy Len Mowry, son of Marlin and Peggy Mowry of West Point.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Nadine Culpepper and the late William Culpepper of Sallis and Walter Richardson Sr. and the late Bonnie Sue Richardson of Bentonia.
Miss Culpepper is a 2004 graduate of Benton Academy. In 2008, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University with a major in Biological Engineering (Summa Cum Laude). And, in 2010, she earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a major in Biomedical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude). She is currently finishing her Ph.D. program in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Virgil and Laura Mowry of Brooksville and the late Jim and Letha Chain of Columbus.
Mr. Mowry is a 2000 graduate of the Mississippi School for Math and Science. In 2005, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University with a major in Mechanical Engineering (Magna Cum Laude). And, in 2007, he earned a Master of Science degree from Mississippi State University also in Mechanical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude). He is a licensed professional engineer currently working as a Melting Engineer for the American Cast Iron Pipe Company in Birmingham, Alabama.
The couple will be married February 9, 2013, at 12 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories on the Mississippi State University campus with reception to follow. The ceremony will be officiated by Pastor Kenny Gardner of the Columbus Christian Center.
All friends and family of the couple are invited to share in the celebration.
