Katherine Rose Meersman and Benjamin Joshua Doty of Carrboro, NC will exchange wedding vows on June 2, 2012 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Clinton, TN.
The bride-elect is the daughter of John and Jean Meersman of Oak Ridge, TN.
She is a 2005 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a master’s degree from Auburn University. She now works as a production editor at Oxford University Press in Cary, NC.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Danny and Diane Doty of Ethel.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University, a master’s degree from Auburn University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
