Ables-Harkins engagement told

KOSCIUSKO — Mr. and Mrs. Todd Ables of Kosciusko announce the engagement of their daughter, Cody Anne Ables, to Paul W. “Billy” Harkins Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Harkins of Saltillo.

Cody is the granddaughter of Jocelyn Marshall and the late Thomas Marshall of Kosciusko and the late James Williams of Clear Water, FL. and Larry and Peggy Ables of Kosciusko.

Billy is the grandson of Rosemary G. Harkins and the late Joseph L. Harkins of Clinton and Billy W. Queen Sr. and Linda Shaw Queen of Canton and the late Mary Elizabeth Saxton Queen.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Kosciusko High School and is currently attending Mississippi State University.  She will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in educational psychology.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Saltillo High School and Mississippi State University. He is currently employed with US Lawns in Starkville.

The wedding will take place at Sallis Baptist Church on Saturday, March 9, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Chip Stares officiating.  

The reception will be held at the Kosciusko Country Club immediately following the ceremony.  All relatives and friends are invited to attend the ceremony and reception.
