Mary Patterson of Durant and Terry Large of Durant are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Marilyn Francessca Smith of Durant, to Jeremy D’Shone Bryant Chestnut of Kosciusko, son of Carolyn Chestnut of Kosciusko and Gillis Harmon of McAdams.
Marilyn is the granddaughter of Irene Large of Durant and the late Kate Smith. Jeremy is the grandson of Effie Chestnut of Kosciusko and the late Billy Chestnut of Kosciusko and the late Billy Chestnut.
Marilyn graduated from Alcorn State University. She is currently a registered nurse. Jeremy is currently a student at Holmes Community College and works at Ivey Mechanical.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 3 p.m. at 15482 North Jackson Street in Durant. A reception will follow at Sequoia’s in Durant.
