Culpepper-Melton set date for beach wedding

KOSCIUSKO — Terry L. Culpepper and Teresa and Ric Schweitzer of Kosciusko announce the engagement of their daughter, Terann Ivey Culpepper, to Steven “Blake” Melton, son of Gina and Steve Melton of Kosciusko.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Merlene Ivey and the late William E. “Jack” Ivey of Madison, Melba Dean and Dale McLean of McAdams, Julius C. Tyler of Kosciusko, and Mrs. Janice Culpepper and the late Richard Mason Culpepper of Dossville.

Miss Culpepper is a 2005 graduate of Kosciusko High School and a 2009 graduate of Holmes Community College. She is currently employed with the Kosciusko School District and is continuing her education through the University of Southern Mississippi.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Dennis Vowell of Philadelphia, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Pinney of Kosciusko and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walton Melton of Kosciusko.

He is a 2009 graduate of Winona Christian School and is currently employed with Edwards Electric in Philadelphia.

The couple will exchange vows in a private beach wedding on Oct. 8, 2010 in Destin, FL. A reception for friends and family will be held at Redbud Springs Golf and Country Club in Kosciusko on Nov. 6, 2010 at 4 p.m.
