Mr. Mickey Wayne Taylor of McAdams announces the engagement of his daughter, Ashley Kay Taylor, to Michael Wade Warren O’Briant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dana O’Briant of Durant.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Mrs. Linda Renee Taylor, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald E. Stewart of McAdams and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Taylor of Schlater.
Miss Taylor is a graduate of Winona Christian School and is continuing her education in the Practical Nursing Program at Holmes Community College.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Durwood O’Briant of West, and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.N. (Buddy) Simpson of Sallis.
Mr. O’Briant is a graduate of Winona Christian School and Holmes Community College. He is currently employed with Yazoo Valley Electric Power Association in Yazoo City.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 6 p.m. at Sallis Baptist Church in Sallis. The reception will follow at Redbud Springs Golf and Country Club in Kosciusko.
All friends and family are invited.
