KOSCIUSKO —
The Trees of Christmas and musical entertainment were featured at the Sunday afternoon open house held at the Attala County Library.
Decorated trees were placed in various areas of the library. They were provided by the Kosciusko Exchange Club, Little Garden Club, The Exodus Project, Teen Library Council, Lady Landowners Association, and Kosciusko Junior Auxiliary.
Ann Carter, Victoria Paton, and Alexandria Paton played Christmas music on the harp and violin and vocal selections were by Ann Breedlove, Nathan Edwards, Marnita Garland and the Teen Library Council Singers.
The New Book Lovers Club, Mid-Mississippi Regional Library and Attala County Library staff and other friends provided refreshments.
Assisting in arrangements for the event was the organization, Friends of the Library. The non-profit group actively supports library services and programming. Membership dues and money received by fund raising projects goes to the library for needs not provided through public funding.
