The Town of Ethel celebrated the “JOY of Christmas” Saturday evening with the Ethel High School Marching Band performing Christmas tunes at the town pavilion.
A well-attended parade began at 6:30 on Ethel’s Main Street. -

Every year, for more than 60 years, French Camp, has hosted Harvest Festival and the Grand Auction on the second Saturday of October and this year was no different.

Marking the close of the summer reading program at the Attala County Library, 250 certificates are being awarded children who have read at least 16 books during the summer months, discloses Mrs. Paul tardy, librarian.
