The board room at Kosciusko City Hall was filled to standing room and the crowd spilled into the hallway at the Tuesday night meeting of the mayor and board of aldermen as Mayor Jimmy Cockroft invited questions and comments on the liquor ordinance as it was introduced.
Several concerns regarding issues within the city were brought to the attention of Kosciusko officials after a letter from the Attala County chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People was given to the mayor and the board of aldermen last week.
Terry Culpepper announces his candidacy for Attala County Coroner. Culpepper is an Attala County native who is a graduate of Kosciusko High School and received his Mortuary Science degree from East Mississippi Community College.
