On a Saturday in 2008, we set out to buy two plates of good ole chicken from Attala County Volunteer Firemen. I would like you to join me on my ride. We were looking for Attala County Road 5053 where the chicken plates were being sold at the fire station.
When you or someone you love becomes sick, you want to get help for them right away. A long, anxiety-filled drive to another town, or even a long wait in an emergency room or a clinic, is the last thing you want.
With all the world problems of terror, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods and crime of unbelievable degree, we need to attempt to see the positive things in life and have a little fun in these trying times.
It is now time for the newly-elected Attala County Board of Supervisors to wake up and do the job they were elected to do and solve the national disgrace of the antic road numbers that are a failure in promoting tourism in Attala County.
