My family and I were visiting Kosciusko City Cemetery on Saturday morning to record some information for genealogy records. The cloudy January sky above the gray stones sprinkled over the grassy hills was so picturesque. A light snow from the morning and the quiet breeze created a reflective mood. This enclave is a treasure to your community as a representation of the cross-section of the citizens who built your community.
The only detraction from our admiration was that we had to pull over promptly in order to allow an irritated driver to cut through the cemetery. In our admiration, we had blocked her rapid way through. Such behavior is disrespectful for people visiting the cemetery and for the whole community's investment to maintain this historical monument. I wondered where this person was headed in such a hurry that required such a disturbance.
