KOSCIUSKO —
On July 3, 2010 we lost our home to a fire. We called 911 at 4:30 p.m. I would like to thank the volunteer fire departments who responded. They were Attala, Zama, Friendship, Carmack and Sallis.
The firefighters fought long and hard and at 10:30 p.m. the fire was out. After seeing these men at work we should praise God for them each day.
I now have a new respect for firefighters. Our home was a total loss. But these men gave all their effort to save it.
I would also like to thank all of our Christian friends and neighbors and churches for their help to get us back on our feet.
May God bless you all.
Roy, Denise and Becky Storey

Take pause and pray on Square Sunday
Normally, I keep my faith to myself. I am not given to public displays of my faith. However, Attala County has had one heck of a year thus far. I think it is time for us to take a pause as a community.
