KOSCIUSKO — I’d like to say thank you to Austin Bishop for the coverage he has given the Kosciusko Dixie Youth Baseball All Stars. Your interviews and interest in our area youth has portrayed professionalism on a high level.

Your up to the minute postings of games, scores and playing times on starherald.net was very helpful along with information about all ages of Kosciusko Dixie Youth All Stars.

Thank you for a job well done and I look forward to continuing to go to starherald.net for local sports, news and up-to-date information.

Congratulations and thank you for a job well done.

Searching for info on George Christopher Pee
Some time ago I began to retrace my ancestors and discovered I am a great-great-grandson of George Christopher Pee. He was a first sergeant in the 4th Mississippi Infantry Co. B. He fought in the Civil War at the Battle of Fort Donoldson, was captured and went to Camp Morton in Indiana as a prisoner of war.
