I am very hurt and disappointed they had a welcome home for our troops Friday, and it really hurt to see that family was the only ones to show up.
You say that you’ll stand behind our troops. Well where were you Friday?
They gave us a year in Iraq and you’ll couldn’t give them 30 minutes or an hour of your time. I know a lot of you had to work, but where were the rest of you?
I don’t know who was in charge of advertisement, but it was poorly done. A lot of people don’t have Internet and a lot don’t listen to radio unless it’s French Camp and why wasn’t it put in the newspaper where everyone could read it.
I know that a lot of you may not have a soldier serving in the military, but you could come and support the one who is serving. If you say you support our troops prove it in your attendance so our troops can see you mean what you say.
Thanks to the ones who did show up. It meant a lot to the soldiers and their families.
