KOSCIUSKO — Kosciusko Upper Elementary students released balloons on Tuesday afternoon kicking off “Relay Recess” activities for Kosciusko-Attala County Relay for Life. The Kosciusko City School District’s Relay for Life goal for the schools is $20,000. The Kosciusko Upper Elementary class that raises the most money will get their teacher in sumo wrestle match against Principal Cassandra Fulton. Students released 393 balloons. Relay Recess brings education and community service into the classroom where students learn about cancer and how to reduce the risk. Activties are planned throughout the week.
