KOSCIUSKO — A bridge replacement project in Attala County was recently awarded to T.L. Wallace Construction, Inc. This $19,191,477 project includes replacing 12 bridges on State Route 12 from Kosciusko to the Choctaw County Line. Traffic is utilizing detour roads at two sites (Munson Creek and Hurricane Creek) while the existing bridges are removed and the new bridges are constructed. A detour road is also under construction at the Cole Creek Tributary site. The project is approximately 24 percent complete with an expected completion date of June 2013.
