Sandifer takes on lead role at McAdams High

KOSCIUSKO — A previous candidate for Attala County School District Superintendent has been hired to take the lead role at McAdams High School.

During the June 26 meeting of the Attala County School Board, Superintendent Bryan Weaver recommended  Jacqueline Sandifer to the board.

After an executive session for discussion, Sandifer was hired by a 4-0 vote. Board secretary Mack Willie Clark was absent.  

Sandifer was a teacher and assistant principal at Long Creek Elementary prior to the hiring. She, previously, taught and served as assistant principal at McAdams and taught at Greenlee Elementary.

She replaces Chris Kennedy, who recently resigned. Kennedy will be the principal at Philadelphia Middle School.
