MJMH: Two new satellite physician practices coming

The Star Herald

KOSCIUSKO — Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital announces two additional physician practices will be holding satellite clinic in MJMH’s ambulatory clinic in its East Tower addition this fall.

Dr. Roger Clapp, a general surgeon with Starkville Surgical Associates, will see patients in the clinic on Fridays.

Dr. Leslie Mason and Dr. Erika Tanner, of Madison OB/GYN Associates, will see patients every other Monday afternoon.

In addition to seeing their clinic patients at the MJMH clinic, these physicians will also be performing outpatient surgical and diagnostic procedures at MJMH.

Clapp, Mason and Tanner join a growing list of practitioners utilizing the clinic to see ambulatory patients while visiting Kosciusko.

Other practitioners seeing patients in the MJMH clinic include Dr. Greg Fiser, general surgeon with Central Surgical Associates of Jackson, and Gayle Harrell, a wound care nurse practitioner from Brandon who also practices at Mississippi Baptist’s Wound Care Center.

According to John Dawson, CEO, visiting physicians like the MJMH clinic setting because of the efficiency it provides in allowing them to see clinic patients and perform procedures in the same setting.

Appointments with these physicians can be made by referral of the primary care physician, or by contacting the physician’s office directly.
