The KPD reports the following arrests:
On January 10, Aaron Douglas Corr, 29, was arrested for suspended driver’s license on Highway 35 North by Officer Bradley Fancher.
On January 10, Brenda Hynes White, 47, was arrested for failure to appear in court by Cpl. Brice Cole with the assistance of Carthage Police Department.
On January 10, Jerico Gentry, 18, was arrested for failure to obey an officer on Peeler Street by Capt. Christopher Busbea.
On January 10, Whitney McDaniel 20, was arrested for simple assault on Washington Street by officer Jonathan Steed.
On January 10, Randy Deshaun Collins, 26, was arrested for suspended driver’s license and driving Under the Influence 2nd Offense on Veterans Memorial Drive by Capt. Thomas Clark.
On January 9, Monica Brown, 26, was arrested for felony shoplifting and resisting arrest at Dollar General by Busbea.
On January 9, Jacqueline Johnson, 46, was arrested for first offense shoplifting at Family Dollar by Officer Bradley Fancher.
On January 9, Justin Laner Snow, 20, was arrested for no driver’s license and disregard for a traffic device on MLK Drive by officer Bradley Fancher.
On January 9, James Curtis Kuykendall, 64, was arrested for public drunkenness on Veterans Memorial Drive by Cpl. Danny Groves.
On January 8, Nicholas Toten, 38, was charged with suspended driver’s license, expired tag and no proof of insurance by officer Jimmy Evans.

– Tiffany Tierra Fletcher, 20, was arrested for first offense shoplifting on M.L.K. Drive by Capt. Herbert Dew. -
City considers using service to find retailers
With the current economy and the merger of Merchants and Farmers Bank and Renasant Bank, Kosciusko Mayor Jimmy Cockroft presented the idea of hiring a firm to aid in the recruitment of retailers during the board of aldermen meeting at city hall May 7.
