KOSCIUSKO —
Following a parole hearing Monday, Donovan Love fled the Attala County Jail booking area and was quickly captured by law enforcement officials.
Attala County Sheriff Tim Nail said Love has been formally charged with escape and could receive up to five years in prison.
Love was apprehended within five to 10 minutes with the help of the Kosciusko Police Department and officers with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife and Fisheries on North Street, Nail said.
Love’s parole was revoked during the hearing and he was sentenced to 10 years. The KPD arrested him earlier this month for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and resisting arrest.
