KOSCIUSKO —
The Kosciusko Police Department reports the following arrests:
On Sunday, Erica Laneshia Haynes, 22, was arrested for suspended driver’s license and child restraint violation on North Street by Cpl. Danny Groves.
On Saturday, Marcus Tyrell Roberts, 31, was arrested for suspended driver’s license and careless driving on F Street by Officer Greg Collins.
On Friday, Quirino Lopez, 58, was arrested for no driver’s license and no proof of insurance on Martin Luther King Drive by Groves.
On Friday, Marlonda Roshae Clark, 33, was arrested for suspended driver’s license and no proof of insurance on South Madison Street by Capt. Thomas Clark.
On Friday, John Henry Triplett, 30, was arrested for suspended driver’s license on Highway 12 West by officer Bradley Fancher.
On Friday, Eliza D. Kelly, 29, was arrested for No Drivers License and Seat Belt Violation on East Jefferson Street by Collins.
On February 13, Latisha Barnes Grant, 35, was arrested for failure to appear in court on Highway 12 by Officer Steven Allen.

– Tiffany Tierra Fletcher, 20, was arrested for first offense shoplifting on M.L.K. Drive by Capt. Herbert Dew. -
City considers using service to find retailers
With the current economy and the merger of Merchants and Farmers Bank and Renasant Bank, Kosciusko Mayor Jimmy Cockroft presented the idea of hiring a firm to aid in the recruitment of retailers during the board of aldermen meeting at city hall May 7.
