KSCD to advertise for sale of Wells house

KOSCIUSKO — During its Monday night meeting, the Kosciusko City School Board approved to advertise for sale and removal of the district-owned house on Wells Street near Kosciusko Elementary and to have property nearby owned by Gordon Alexander appraised in hopes of increasing parking at Kosciusko Middle Elementary.

The board approved:

– Minutes from the August, September and October meetings.

– Approved a change order on the windows being placed at the high school. The project came in under budget with a surplus of $8,239.14 left over.

–Hourly wages for Stacy Robinson to do contract work on different school campuses.

–Cords for the Beta Club and honor stoles that will be worn at graduation.

–Increase Jessica Dickens salary due to change in years of experience.

–Payment of $33,828.30 to Kosciusko Lower Elementary PTA and accept donation of $14,532.15 for KLE projects. Money comes from fundraiser at the school.

–Renee Hanson and Jodi Hattox as bus drivers for the school year.

–Monica Perteet as a substitute bus drive for the school year.

–Payment to Katrina Overstreet for Credit Recovery.

–Rose Beauchamp and Jennifer Blount to attend E-Rate road show in Jackson.

–Kevin Pullen to attend Mississippi Athletic Directors Conference in Vicksburg.

–Changes to the junior high and high school basketball schedules due to unforeseen conflicts.

–Soccer schedules

–Calculus and AP History classes to attend Mississippi State University November 27 to tour the Raspeth Engineering Flight Lab and participate in hands on activities.

–Stephanie Holmes to attend Belhaven University in Jackson for the Mississippi Music Teachers Association Annual Conference.
