The Kosciusko Police Department reports the following arrests:
On Monday, James Earl Rimmer, 49, was arrested for open container violation on South Street by Lt. Danny Groves.
On Sunday, Jalessa Evans, 23, was arrested for suspended driver’s license, possession of marijuana (misdemeanor), and malicious mischief on Jefferson Street by officer Greg Collins.
On Sunday, Maurica Jaraeda Greer, 22, was arrested for possession of marijuana (misdemeanor) on Jefferson Street by Collins.
On Sunday, Tommy Lee Yarbrough, 48, was arrested for suspended driver’s license on West Jefferson Street by Lt. Danny Groves
On Sunday, Donald Rodriguez Boone, 25, was arrested for suspended driver’s license and speeding on Highway 12 West by Collins.
On Sunday, Corey Latrail Crain, 24, was arrested for no driver’s license and speeding on Highway 35 South by Officer Bradley Fancher.
On Sunday, Jason Gerard Tubby, 34, was arrested for suspended Driver’s License on Aponaug Road by Groves.
On Sunday, Jeremy Deon Seamster, 23, was arrested for suspended driver’s license on Aponaug Road by Collins.
On Saturday, Jerald Olive, 33, was arrested for suspended driver’s license and possession of liquor in a dry county on Highway 12 West by Groves.
On Saturday, Stanley Eubanks, 42, was arrested for public drunkenness on Highway 12 West by Collins.
On Friday, Robert D. Landfair, 30, was arrested for suspended driver’s license on South Natchez Street by Capt. Thomas Clark.
On Friday, Darryl Lamont Neely Sr., 42, was arrested for suspended driver’s license on South Natchez Street by officer Mark Gilmore.
On Friday, Whitney Renette Moore, 25, was arrested for suspended driver’s license on South Natchez Street by Collins.
On Friday, Lakendrick Lowell Carter, 23, was arrested for improper equipment and possession of marijuana in a vehicle on South Street by Collins.
On Friday, Cortavius Monta Ferguson, 21, was arrested for suspended driver’s license on South Natchez Street by Collins.
On Friday, Anthony Dodd, 43, was arrested for suspended driver’s license on West Jefferson Street by Groves.
On March 14, Robert J. Collins, 43, was arrested for possession of paraphernalia on North Natchez Street by officer Jimmy Evans.
On March 14, Shaketa Kenyell Erving, 23, was arrested for petit larceny on Peeler Street by officer Jimmy Evans.
On March 13, Clarence Paul Davis, 29, was arrested for suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance, and expired tag on North Natchez Street by Evans.
On March 13, Marquita Sharnelle Phillips, 21, was arrested for failure to appear in court on Goodman Street by Capt. Herbert Dew.
On March 12, Cecil Durwood Ashford, 40, was arrested for no driver’s license, improper equipment, possession of liquor in a dry county, and second offense driving under the influence on South Street by Collins.
On March 12, Nathnolan Davis, 24, was arrested for suspended driver’s license, a possession of marijuana in a vehicle and open container violation on Chatwin Street by Groves.

City considers using service to find retailers
With the current economy and the merger of Merchants and Farmers Bank and Renasant Bank, Kosciusko Mayor Jimmy Cockroft presented the idea of hiring a firm to aid in the recruitment of retailers during the board of aldermen meeting at city hall May 7.
