Bell found not guilty of murder

KOSCIUSKO — The a jury comprised of mostly women deilberated for approximately 90 minutes Tuesday evening and returned a not guilty verdict in the muder trial of a Kosciusko woman.

Bell, 23, was first charged with aggravated assault after the September 22 incident on Victoria Lane that left Leonard Gentry with a gunshot wound to the chest. Gentry was transported to a Jackson hospital.

Upon Gentry’s death in October, Bell was charged with murder.
