Moring Update: Friday, July 6

KOSCIUSKO — Good morning Attala Countians! Today will be a chance of showers with highs near 97. Lows will be in the 70s.

Sports schedule

7-Year Olds – Kosciusko All-Stars will be playing in Laurel on Saturday.

8-Year Olds – Kosciusko All-Stars will be playing in Magee on Saturday

 

Community Events

Gameroom Festival – A Triple Play Gameroom Festival will be Friday at the Oprah Winfrey Boys & Girls Club Friday from 10 a.m. to noon for ages 6-18. Admission is free. For more information, call 289-4252.

Farmers Market – The Attala County Farmers Market will be open Saturday at from 7 – 11 a.m. with homemade and homegrown items in the grassy area by the Attala County Coliseum.

Sallis Day – Homecoming festivities will be Saturday in Downtown Sallis with arts and crafts, music and food.

 

Governmental meetings

The Kosciusko City School Board will meet Monday at 6 p.m. at the Central Office.
