Superintendent to look at options for house

KOSCIUSKO — Kosciusko City School District Superintendent Dr. Tony McGee said no bids were turned to for the removal of the school district-owned home near Kosciusko Middle Elementary.

McGee told the board during their December 10 meeting that he would look at options for the property and revisit it during the January meeting.

The board approved the following:

–Moving $378,974.82 from 4041 to the building improvement fund. These monies received from refinancing the MAEP loan.

–Minutes from the November meeting.

–Clark Pullen and Willie Jean Olive as substitutes for the remainder of the school year.

–Orlando Teague as a bus shop assistant.

–Payment to Katrina Overstreet for Credit Recovery in the amount of $300.

–November Financial report.

–Kosciusko Upper Elementary PBIS students to attend a Mississippi Basketball Game on January 3

–Math and science team to travel to Mississippi College for competition on February 8 and to Holmes Community College on February 20.

–Junior High School Boys Basketball team to travel to Mississippi Valley State University for a basketball game for their season and achieving goals.

–Kosciusko Middle Elementary Quest Students to travel to Jackson to New Stage Theater to see “Cat in the Hat.”

–For selected teachers to attend MAAECF workshop in Jackson.
