KOSCIUSKO —
Less than 24 hours after issuing a be on the look out alert, the Koscuisko Police Department found their man.
On Monday, Donovan Donte Love was arrested and charged with weapon posession by a felon and resisting arrest at Yorkshire Apartments by officer Greg Collins.

Ride of Silence held in Kosciusko
Cyclists gathered in Downtown Kosciusko May 22 to take part in the National Ride of Silence. The mission of the world wide ride is to honor bicyclists killed by motorists, promote sharing the road, and provide awareness of bicycling safety.

– Tiffany Tierra Fletcher, 20, was arrested for first offense shoplifting on M.L.K. Drive by Capt. Herbert Dew. -
City considers using service to find retailers
With the current economy and the merger of Merchants and Farmers Bank and Renasant Bank, Kosciusko Mayor Jimmy Cockroft presented the idea of hiring a firm to aid in the recruitment of retailers during the board of aldermen meeting at city hall May 7.
