Kosciusko-Attala Development Corporation President Steve Zea told the Attala County Board of Supervisors Tuesday that the companies in attendance were happy to find aptly qualified candidates.

Approximately 600 job seekers attending the event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Zea said the attendance was only down slightly but the companies in attendance were pleased with those that came out. There were 36 companies set up at the job fair.
Responses from employers included: “Great turn out today,” “strong clerical resumes,” “everything was good,” and “more qualified applicants than last year.”
There were 114 job offers made at the fair and an estimated 264 hires could be made from applications taken at the fair.
