Attala County Sheriff's Department incident reports
Reports of stolen items
–James Dodd, of Attala County Road 221, reported missing a Wells Fargo check for $3,000 from his truck on Oct. 1.
–Michael Wingard, of Attala County Road 4996, reported a Honda four-wheeler stolen from his home on Friday.
–Evelyn Miller, of Attala County Road 2111, reported two stolen firearms from her home on Sept. 24.
–Linnie Sudduth reported 10 automobile batteries missing out of 18-wheelers at L&S; Trucking in McAdams on Sept. 23. The batteries are valued at $1,000.
Arrest
Ricky Winters was charged with disturbance of family on Saturday.
Lee said his department was called to the residence on Attala County Road 4213, where Winters was throwing things in the yard.
After repeated attempts to get him to stop, he was taken into custody and charged.
