Area artisans Beth Burton, Doris Hood Belk, Inez Dickerson, Ann Hughes, Carolyn Wilkerson, Offie Thomas Oakes, Jewette Battles, Rebecca Doty, Mery Barrow, Lavelle Boyette and Verniece Townsend under the direction of Ann Jordan came together to create painting of Kosciusko and Attala County scenes for the first Oprah Winfrey Boys & Girls Club calendar. The original paintings will be up for auction during Holiday Open House at Jordan Art Gallery and Jordan Furniture on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Orders are currently being taken for the $20 calendar.
