The Kosciusko City School Board rejected the bids to renovate the Kosciusko Lower Elementary classrooms into a physical therapy room for special needs students at their Monday night board meeting.
The stimulus funding expected for the project has not been awarded. They will take bids on the project once the funding is made available.
The board approved the following:
–Minutes from the Oct. 12 meeting.
–Bids on the 16-15-6E timber sale.
–Laura Davis as a substitute teacher.
–Single source vendors: Renaissance Learning, Lightspeed and Computer Automation Systems for purchasing software for math and reading using stimulus funds.
–LEA Highly Qualified Teacher Plan for the current school year.
–Renee Hanson as a bus driver for the remainder of the school year.
–Claims docket
–Permission to delete and dispose of items from inventory and remove and dispose from general ledger according to MS Code.
–Jonathon Jones and Chris Terry to attend a coaching clinic in Philadelphia Dec. 3-4.
–Travel for the kindergarten teachers to carry classes to Christmas in Canton on Dec. 14.
–Temporary easement and agreement between David Roos, R.W. Williams, Ron Calvert and Peggy Colletta, Melvin Beach, Michelle Dees and Stephanie Allen and the Attala County Board of Supervisors.
