Runoff in sheriff's race

KOSCIUSKO —

Counting of absentee ballots following Tuesday’s General Election was completed Wednesday afternoon with the results requiring a runoff in the sheriff’s race, according to official results from Circuit Clerk Wanda Fancher.

Tabulations showed Tim Nail picked up an additional 555 votes for a total of 4,234.

Roby gained 504 votes for a total of 3,507.

A winner will be decided in the runoff election Nov. 27.
