KOSCIUSKO —
Thursday evening, the sixth annual C.A.R.E. Banquet will feature Dave Condon, founder of Diversified Nonprofit Services. He will share his powerful story of the impact Boys and Girls Club had on his life.
Held at the Oprah Winfrey Boys & Girls Club on Knox Road, a silent auction begins at 6 p.m. with items donated by board members and club friends and volunteers. Included in the auction will be paintings by area artists including Danny Brunt, Peggy Sims and Dale McLean.
Attendees are asked to wear tropical dinner attire to the banquet. This year’s theme is “Passport to the Future.”
Entertainment will be provided by members of the Holmes Connection: Caroline May of Eupora, Kathleen Lott of Carrollton, Gade Chamblee of Winona, and Michael Yates, director of Holmes Connection.
The club’s children’s choir will perform Caribbean songs and a delicious island menu will be served by members of the Keystone Club.
Tickets are $35 each with tables for eight reserved for $250.
Please contact the club at 662-289-4252 or any board member for tickets and information.
Proceeds raised from the event go to the boys and girls club.
